SUMMARY:Advanced Personal Storytelling Virtual Workshop
DESCRIPTION:How do stories evolve from ‘meh’ to “Wow!” Find out by enrolling in my first-ever Advanced Storytelling 6-week Zoom workshop starting Sunday\, July 12th.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\nFor the past four years\, I’ve conducted numerous “Introduction to Storytelling” workshops. Over the years\, many of you have asked when I’d offer an advanced workshop. Well\, that time has come. \nThe workshop will consist of 6\, two-hour-long Zoom classes on consecutive Sundays starting Sunday\, July 12th. Class size is limited to 6 people so reserve your spot soon. \nDuring those six weeks\, you will continually work on and refine one or more stories so that they are polished\, professional and ready for the stage or to be told to family and friends. Each week will focus on different aspects of storytelling\, including incorporating humor\, tightening story structure\, performance techniques\, economy of language\, and harnessing vulnerability to tell authentic\, heart-filled stories. \nThe final class on August 16th will be a live Zoom storytelling show where you can invite family and friends. The cost for the workshop will be $600. \nFYI\, every participant should already have taken a beginner’s storytelling workshop (either with me or somewhere else) or be familiar with the basics of story structure as we will spend all six weeks workshopping stories you want to tell and honing them so that they are fluid and natural and poignant and funny and get to the heart of what you want to say.
